Espresso & Coffee Associations

About the BSA...
Founded in 1996, the Beverage Service Association is the trade association for the UK out-of-home non-vending refreshment industry.
It represents all sectors; manufacturers, distributors and importers of machines and components, commodity suppliers, service organisations who maintain and repair machines, training, recruitment and marketing companies working within the industry, and retailers – the end-users who prepare serve refreshments to the paying public.
Beverages include coffee, tea, chocolate, milk, juice and water.

About the SCAE...
SCAE is an association with a growing number of members - people like you, who are looking for coffee excellence. You don't have to be European to appreciate the many benefits of belonging to SCAE: we've members in more than 70 countries around the world who network, keep informed and share views on the latest developments in speciality coffee. We have national chapters in a growing number of these countries, so we're on the ground locally to meet the needs of members, working within their own national coffee traditions.
Espresso & Coffee Magazines

About Boughtons Coffee House...
The Coffee House magazine was launched in Britain and at the Boston USA coffee show in April/May 2003.
Because in this trade, there is a great deal of exciting data to be shared  - every supplier knows that the proprietor/barista who understands their subject does a better job of selling, and as a trade magazine editor over many years and in many industries, our editor, Ian has always tried to interest and enthuse trade readers.   He can't stand boring trade papers, and 'journals of record'!

About the Café Culture...
The rise of café culture across the UK has been exceptional in recent years, and it’s not just the well known high street coffee chains that have made a name for themselves.
In towns and cities across the land, you will find plenty of innovative independents specialising in anything from ice cream to freshly-made smoothies, or coffee cocktails. Welcome to the world of Café Culture!
Espresso & Coffee Forums

About the Coffee Geek...
CoffeeGeek.com is a community of coffee and espresso lovers, and the CoffeeGeek website gives people, both consumers and folks in the coffee industry, a place to hang out, read, debate, write, or even ponder the finer aspects of coffee and espresso.

About the Too Much Coffee...
Toomuchcoffee.com arose initially from three European people seeing each other's posts on CoffeeGeek and alt.coffee, and starting to chat by email, mostly about coffee of course!
They are now a growing community and information resource for European coffee enthusiasts.
The site is developing continually, and contains coffee and hardware reviews as well as a number of interesting and useful "How To" articles about things as diverse as foaming milk and computer controlled coffee roasting! Our aspiration is to be the European coffee resource, with our own style and emphasis. If you have any ideas for a new review or "How To", then don't hesitate to drop us a line, we're very open to suggestions and submissions.
